Every time I go to Eldon McDonald’s I’m parked they’re the slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to!!! Sedalia is the best one!! I literally just got parked for a cappuccino smh
Generally good service. At least once I waited 15 minutes in the drive thru for my order and had to ask for the rest if the order when it was brought to my car. The rest if my order was cold but didn't want to wait any longer. Was easier to heat it in a microwave.
Easy access corner location at the major junction in town. Even room and access for one to two big rigs. Large dining room and more tables than average McDonald's. The play ground is large and enclosed (quiet for diners). Has a large conference room that generally requires no reservations, and it attracts small groups of local musicians although it is enclosed so you cannot hear much and non - jamming audiences are discouraged. If you are a one or two person group and wait for a break to enter, you may get to listen awhile. If you play, the group is friendly and open. Generally string band traditional but they can do a little blues and such. Definitely acoustic only.
The shakes are the best here though. The one in Osage beach. Their shake machine must always be in a cleaning cycle. I bet I went there 30 times for a shake and received 2. Always a excuse with their machine. I done the same for the McDonald's in Eldon. And maybe 1 time haven't had to be able to get a shake. Like the one in Eldon know when a good time is to do a cleaning cycle on their.equipment Nd the one in Osage beach reAlly don't care. It can be dinner rush and they are like. Hey put the shake machine in cleaning mode. Like
For the most part the food is hot, fresh and have a short wait time. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Establishment is usually tidy.
McDonald's in Eldon, MO is truly a trip down memory lane. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The menu is the same as the one that put McDonald's on the map and in the hearts of the people so many decades ago. The decor tells the story of McDonald's and the community. Eating here is akin to finding oneself in Mayberry. Truly a great experience not to be missed.
