Best jewelry store you will find!! Henley Jewelers has always been known for quality service, the best jewelry, beautiful hand-made designs, great prices, and friendly service. They stand behind their jewelry and their work 100%. I was shocked to read the negative, rambling review made by the last woman on this site. For years and years Henley Jewelers has made hundreds of mid-Missouri customers extremely happy!!

Buyer Beware!!!!!

" I probably did". We were the only customers in the store!!!! We walked out. I was extremely offended & hurt at her horrible treatment towards us & very disappointed that my search will now continue because she is clueless on how to treat her customers! Sadly I had told my husband prior to this incident that the one thing that was holding me back from buying the ring initially was Diane was SO rude & treated me like crap everytime I had visited Henleys.

You can't go wrong with Henley Jewelers. I have been purchasing jewelry from them for over 30 years. Whether it was the special order gold initial necklace I bought for myself or a jewelry repair that I needed, I have, without exception, found the Henleys to be customer-focused and of the highest integrity. When I shattered the opal in a ring a few years ago, they worked with me to redesign it and replace the stone with a marquis-shaped emerald creating a beautiful piece that I wear every day. Both my first husband (an army colonel) and my current husband (a college professor, author, and entrepreneur) have relied on Henley Jewelers to help them find the right birthday or Christmas gift (lucky me!) and none of us have ever been disappointed. I now live in Southern California and still visit Henley Jewelers when I am back in my home state of Missouri. I highly recommend them for all your jewelry need—if they don’t have what you want, they will find it or create it for you.

My adorable husband went to this jeweler to shop for my dream necklace! Since we had already been to a couple others, my husband knew exactly what he was looking for. After choosing a beautiful diamond, he began the process of design. After telling the elderly woman what HIS WIFE wanted, she talked him into an expensive setting for a cheap snake chain. Then she advised "if she didn't like it, we would take care of it." After receiving the necklace, my husband advised the design was not his choice and I could return it and get what I wanted. I went back on Mon, Feb 22. 2016 as the necklace, although beautiful, was not what I wanted as I am very hard on jewelry and would destroy a snake chain, The elderly woman showed me some chains in their book. I chose two, she ordered them and I returned (30 miles one way trip) on Fri,. Feb. 26, 2016. I picked the chain which was only a tiny amount higher in gram weight. she assure me the setting the diamond was in, which was a slide she talked my husband into buying (over $200.00) would more than cover the difference and we would probably have a credit. She had me try on the chain I picked and advised it probably would not need any links removed. It was beautiful. So I left the store after being told I could pick my necklace up or since I had to drive what would have been the third time to Henley Jewelers, that she could possibly meet me on Tuesday, March 1, 2016. As I was 30 minutes away, from leaving my home, I received a phone call from the tall man (I'm assuming the elderly woman's husband) advising me he was going to send us our money back as they felt "they were unable to please me". I asked him what he was talking about as, When I was there on Fri, Feb, 26, 2016. the elderly woman and I had figured everything out and I was just getting ready to come and get my necklace! I asked him if I could just come and get the diamond since my husband picked it out especially for me! Then I called and asked if I could just pick up the chain, mounting, and diamond and I would take it elsewhere to be made. He said, NO THE CHECK IS IN THE MAIL. I called the police who met me there. They owners were no where in site. So when the jeweler handed me the check which was supposedly, "in the mail". I asked him to please tell the elderly woman to listen to her customers as the customer is always right (especially when they already know what they want) THIS JEWELRY STORE DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORD!!! They stomped on my dream and caused me nothing but hassle, heartache and stress!! Buyer beware of this jewelry store! This is the first review I have EVER written on anything. I hope and pray it helps one person from the heartache and pain that this jewelry store caused. FYI they should not even receive one star. I will also be contacting the BBB.

I had an excellent experience with Henley Jewelers. Great service with prompt, concise responses. I came to Henley with little knowledge about styles and settings, etc, and was talked through the design process step by step to create a piece. Upon receiving the finished product, I was blown away. Outstanding craftsmanship, in addition to their customer service, means 5/5 from me.

Horrible experience!!!!! Elderly woman (I believe her name is Diane) has horrible customer service skills & just cost Henleys a 6K-7K sale. My husband was upgrading my diamond engagement ring & we had been visiting several stores to find exactly what I wanted. I had looked at Henleys a few times. We had narrowed it down to 2 different solitaires both at Henleys & were prepared to buy the ring that day. Diane's response to our questions & request to see the ring in natural light was " we've been really busy this morning & no I'm not doing that you can decide from seeing the rings in the case" So my husband said "lets go I'm not spending our money in here & I said "you just lost a big sale" Diane said

I always cringed everytime she came to wait on me over the last year & 1/2 of shopping for various jewelry. We will never go into that store again & will spread the word! Interesting enough Josh at Duncan II Jewelery was more than happy to show us a ring in natural light & that is where we ended up buying my new ring & got a much better deal anyway! Diane should retire if she can't provide great customer service & feels the need to be so rude & offensive especially when your talking about spending thousands! She always treated me like I was a huge bother!

    You can't go wrong with Henley Jewelers. I have been purchasing jewelry from them for over 30 years. Whether it was the special order gold initial necklace I bought for myself or a jewelry repair that I needed, I have, without exception, found the Henleys to be customer-focused and of the highest integrity.
